At the beginning of the new year the LR GLOBAL KIDS FUND Switzerland receives two generous donations. In each case, the organization Kissling...

and the trust company KBT, which had decided to donate money instead of distributing presents to the customers, donated 830 Euros to the children’s charity.

As previously reported, the project “Pestalozzi Children’s Village” is provided with financial support. This amount is spent for the refurbishment of the dilapidated houses and the sanitary facilities, which to some extent are 65 years old.

In December of last year, we have informed you on the completed restoration of the communal showers and the installation of handicapped accessible showers. The hygienic conditions in the first houses were already visibly improved thanks to the donations from the LR GLOBAL KIDS FUND.

At the beginning of the year, Christopher and Daniela Kissling donated 830 Euro to the LR GLOBAL KIDS FUND Switzerland.

This amount came off the original action "Buy a light - Bring a light". The idea behind this action was to donate five Swiss franc to the LRGKF Switzerland from every in-house candle the Kissling’s could sell. All in all 415 Euro were gathered.

On the occasion of the LR-annual ball in Zurich, the revenue was eventually doubled by the married couple Kissling and was thrown in the donation box of the LR GLOBAL KIDS FUND. The entire supports the modernization of the sanitary facilities of the Swiss project "Pestalozzi Children's Village".

As announced, the young patients of the Children's Heart Center received a visit from Santa on Christmas Eve. This gifted about 20 small children on the ward and made for a festive atmosphere.

About 20 small children were happy about the festive atmosphere on the ward and of course about the presents Santa brought them.

With parts of the donation from LR GLOBAL KIDS FUND gifts were purchased for all age groups: Dolls, grip toys, mobiles, toy phones, soft dices, board games, stuffed animals and Playmobil lay packed underneath the Christmas tree on the 24th of December.

Especially for children with a heart disease it is important to take away their fear of the complicated surgery. In this case, psycho-therapeutic and psycho-socio care is required which socially-deprived families simply cannot afford.
And that is where the LR GLOBAL KIDS FUND offers help and supports the Deutsche Kinderherzzentrum in Sankt Augustin with a full-time child psychologist.

Drug abuse, child poverty, life-threatening diseases and child abuse - many countries have to strugge against these problems almost daily. Unfortunately their hands tied too often, because the countries cannot afford the financial support of appropriate organisations. For this reason, the LR GLOBAL KIDS FUND specifically helps disadvantaged children and gives them the opportunity to shape their own future. Tangibly, hands-on and locally.

The new trailer reflects our work from the projects in their respective countries.
We thank our project partners who made authentic footage available. This made it possible for us to document our work from the projects in the respective countries in a film such as this trailer.

On the occasion of the annual kick-off seminar the LR GLOBAL KIDS FUND handed over a check in the amount of 12,500 euros to Switzerland's representative of the Pestalozzi Children's Village.

The entire previous year, donations were generated at several events for the LR GLOBAL KIDS FUND, which will be donated to the Pestalozzi Children's Village.

The donation provides further funds to the project, which will be spended on the modernization of the sanitary facilities, which partially date back to the year 1946.
We reported in early December 2011 of the completed restoration of the communal showers of the orphanage.
The renovation was also financed by donations of the LR GLOBAL KIDS FUND.
